Success may depend less on foundational models and more on specialists who fine-tune them for specific domains and aesthetics, pushing the models into new distributions. Ultimately, the most transformative future for agents hinges on solving practical hurdles like security, authentication, and seamless data access across the walled gardens of the internet, moving AI from a buzzword to a normal, useful technology.
